Let's Build Your Trip

A few of you have asked how to actually book something like this — the crossing, the cabin, the itinerary. Turns out I can help with that directly.

What this is

I’m a travel advisor — and, for what it’s worth, also a certified transition coach. Odd combination on paper. Useful in practice, if you want it.

The advisor side puts the whole thing together — cruise line, ship, sailing date, cabin category, the days on either end. If you already know roughly what you want, that’s the whole conversation. If you don’t yet, the coaching background means I can help you think through what the trip’s actually for first — but that part’s optional, not the price of admission.

It costs you nothing extra

Advisors get paid by the cruise line or the travel company, not by you. No markup, no planning fee, no catch. The same price you’d pay booking it yourself — except someone who knows both the industry and what you’re after is doing the work.

What I can help with

  • Transatlantic crossings — the slow ones, the repositioning sailings, the ones I write about here.

  • Cruises of every kind — ocean, river, expedition. Alaska, the British Isles, Northern Europe, wherever you’re headed.

  • Land trips and multi-stop itineraries — safaris, independent routing across a region, anywhere that actually benefits from someone building the sequence instead of you guessing at it.

  • Hotels and the days on either end, which are usually where the trip actually starts.

  • Honestly, most things with a plane ticket attached. You don’t have to sail a ship I’ve been on.

How it works

  1. You tell me what you’re thinking. “Somewhere north, sometime next spring” is enough to start.

  2. I come back with two or three real options — actual ships, actual dates, actual cabin categories — and why they’re different from each other.

You pick one. I book it. You get the confirmation, and a person to call if anything changes.

Let’s talk about it

Email sean@slowcrossings.com, or message me here. Tell me roughly when, roughly where, and what you’re hoping the trip does for you — or just where you want to go, if that’s all there is to it. That’s enough to start with.

I’d genuinely like to help you put something together.
